Employer Value Proposition (EVP)
Hello Friends , I am Ashok Bavliya and today we will Continue our new Course on the topic of the Interview Training for Hiring Managers and Teams Next blog ' Employer Value Proposition (EVP) '
A component of the five star interview experience is being able to articulate the employer value proposition or EVP. These are the qualities that make your company an attractive option for candidates such as your mission your company culture or your benefits. It's what motivates and engages current employees - the things that make them love coming back to work every day.
A strong EVP will help attract talented people and retain top performers. Conveying the EVP with enthusiasm is one of the key elements of providing a great candidate experience.Candidates want to learn if the company aligns with their priorities and their career goals.Throughout the interview process we want to be sure we are addressing this in a uniform way.
For example if one person discusses growth in a position the entire team must understand what the potential growth could be so that it is clearly and consistently explained throughout the entire process to the candidate.
All of your hiring team members must be aligned on the message you're sending to the candidate about the specific role, the team, and the organization as a whole. As you prepare for your interviews make sure that you address the EVP with your fellow interviewers so you can be ready to discuss the same message. Now let's do an activity to determine the EVP at your company.
